The 32-year-old France World Cup winner was cleared to return to the pitch in March this year.
However, Pogba recently reached a two-year agreement with AS Monaco untill June 2027.
The former Juventus star will undergo his medical with Monaco in the coming days as final details of his contract with the French Ligue 1 club will be sorted out this week.
However, in an Instagram post, Mbappe welcomed back Pogba for his expected return ahead of next season.
The France captain wrote on the story:
“Pogback. Daghe Munegu”.
Daghe Munegu simply means ‘Let’s go, Monaco’ in English.
Pogba will hope to do well at Monaco in the upcoming season in a bid to make the national team squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
