Ligue 1: Akor’s double gives Montpellier win against Auxerre
Jerome Akor scored twice to help Montpellier beat Auxerre 2-1 in their Ligue 1 encounter on Sunday.
Akor equalised for Montpelier in the 65th minute with a header.
The forward fired the winner in the 75th minute after he was put through on goal.
He has now netted three goals in Ligue 1 this season.
The home win lifted Montpellier out of the relegation zone.
They are now 15th on the table with four points from five matches.
