‘Life’s cruel’ – De Gea reacts to Diogo Jota’s death
Former Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea has reacted to the death of Diogo Jota.
The Liverpool forward died tragically in Spain on Wednesday night.
DAILY POST reported that Jota, died in a car accident in Spain as the 28-year-old was travelling in a vehicle with his brother, Andre Silva.
The incident came less than two weeks after Jota married his long-term partner Rute Cardoso.
Daily Mail had reported that the car went off the road on the A-52 in the province of Zamora
De Gea reacted to the incident with a five-word message on Instagram
“Sometimes life is very cruel,” he wrote.
Jota won the Premier League title with Liverpool and went on to lift the Europe Nations League with Portugal.
