LaLiga: Klopp in line for shock move to Real Madrid

Real Madrid are considering a shock move for former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The LaLiga giants might have to replace Carlo Ancelotti this summer.

There are doubts over Ancelotti’s future at the Bernabeu, following a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Despite the Italian’s current deal running until 2026, poor form in Europe and inconsistency in LaLiga are beginning to weigh heavily.

With only seven league fixtures left, Madrid also sit four points behind fierce rivals Barcelona.

According to Sport, Real Madrid have been closely monitoring Klopp’s availability and are contemplating making an official move for the German tactician.

Klopp stepped down from his managerial role at Liverpool last summer, but has now accepted a new off-pitch position as Red Bull’s Global Head of Football.
