LaLiga: Corona backs Sadiq to help Valencia in relegation fight
Valencia sporting director, Miguel Angel Corona is backing new signing, Umar Sadiq to help the club in their fight against relegation
Sadiq will spend the remainder of the 2024/25 season on loan with Valencia from Real Sociedad.
Los Ches sit in 19th position on the LaLiga table needing a big inspiration to maintain their top-flight status.
Corona believed the Nigeria international can be the missing link for his team in attack.
“We are confident that Sadiq will greatly contribute to our attacking options,” Corona said at the striker’s unveiling ceremony.
“He complements the players in our squad and has proven his ability to play effectively both upfront and as a lone striker.
“We trust he will help us, and we’re thrilled to have him.”
