Kano Pillars U-19 coach, Nasiru Rasha, says the goal of the team is to win the 2025 National Youth League Super Eight playoff.

The tournament is billed to kick-start on Monday, 23rd June 2025.

Kano Pillars are in Group A alongside Enyimba U-19, Kwara United U-19, and Plateau United U-19.

The Young Sai Masu Gida will battle with Plateau United in their opening fixture of the competition in Lagos.

Rasha said his team is motivated for the competition.

“We are fully prepared. The players are motivated and understand what is at stake,” Rasha told Pillars media.

“Our goal is not just to participate but to win. We are going to Lagos to make the people of Kano proud.”
