Home Eagles, Zanzibar share spoils in pre CHAN 2024 friendly
The home- based Super Eagles were held to a 0-0 draw by Zanzibar in a pre-2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN, friendly on Monday.
Eric Chelle’s side failed to break down the hosts despite dominating possession throughout the game.
Taiwo Abdularafiu, Anthony Ijoma, and Leonard Ngenege all impressed for Nigeria in the game.
Nigeria and Zanzibar will clash in the second friendly on Thursday.
The two friendlies are part of the home- based Super Eagles preparation for CHAN 2024.
They are expected to move to their official base after the second friendly on Thursday.
The CHAN 2024 finals which will be hosted by three countries, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, will start this weekend.
