‘He’s just the best’ – Alexander-Arnold names toughest player he ever faced

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, has named Lionel Messi as the toughest player he has ever faced.

The England international branded Messi as the ‘best.’

In a recent interview (via @centregoals on X), the interviewer asked Alexander-Arnold to name the toughest player he has faced in his career.

The right-back replied : “Messi. Just the best.”

Messi is widely considered as one of the best players of all-time.

The Argentina forward has won several trophies including the World Cup, Copa America and UEFA Champions League.
