Galatasaray will get good striker if Osimhen is not available – Ates
Former Galatasaray striker Necati Ateş has said that the club have exhausted all efforts to sign Victor Osimhen.
Speaking to Radyospor, Ateş, a former Galatasaray assistant coach, expressed frustration with the delay in the striker’s decision.
“It is not normal for Osimhen to wait this long to make a decision,” the former player said, as quoted by habersarikirmizi.
“Galatasaray did everything they could for Osimhen. Nothing more will happen.”
The Nigeria international spent last season on loan at the Turkish giants and was highly impressive.
He helped the club secure a historic double, scoring over 35 goals in all competitions.
Fans of the club, impressed by the player’s form, want the Turkish side to make the move permanent.
However, Osimhen is yet to make a decision on his future despite Galatasaray’s clear interest.
“If Osimhen is not available, Galatasaray will get a very good centre forward,” said Ateş, who also named Canadian international Jonathan David as a viable alternative.
