Friendly: Russia midfielder, Glebov anticipates difficult test against Super Eagles
Russia midfielder, Daniel Glebov is anticipating a difficult test in Friday’s (today) friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Valery Karpin’s side will entertain the three-time African champions at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow in what will be their first meeting at the senior level.
Glebov, who plays for Russian club, Dynamo Moscow, revealed that they have studied videos of Nigeria’s past games.
The 25-year-old also labelled the Super Eagles a ”physically strong” side.
The playmaker further said they are looking forward to an interesting match.
“We’ve been watching their games for two days,” he said in his pre-match interview.
“They’re a good team: physically strong and technically skilled players. We’ve got an interesting match ahead of us tomorrow.”
