Friendly: Russia coach announces final squad for Super Eagles clash
Russia head coach Valery Karpin has announced his final squad for the upcoming international friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Karpin listed 41 players in his provisional squad for the friendly last week.
The gaffer has now reduced the squad to 31.
He included only two foreign-based players, Matvey Safonov, a goalkeeper with Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and Sion midfielder Anton Miranchuk in the squad.
The team will commence preparation for the game in Novogorsk on Saturday.
The highly anticipated friendly will hold at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow on Friday,6 June.
