The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will participate in the maiden edition of the WAFU B U-20 Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.

Ghana will host the competition from Thursday, 10 July to Wednesday, 24 July , 2025.

All the matches will be played in the country’s capital, Accra.

The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in Prampram from 15 June to 30 June.

It was postponed to ensure the best possible conditions for the tournament.

The Flying Eagles will use the competition as part of their preparation for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side were last in action at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt in March.

They finished in third position at the competition.

Cote d’Ivoire, Niger, Burkina Faso, Togo and Benin are the other countries that will take part in WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations.
