Europa Conference League final: What I told Isco after Chelsea beat Real Betis – Maresca
Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca, has revealed what he told Real Betis star Isco after the Blues defeated the Spanish LaLiga side to win the UEFA Europa Conference League final this week.
Maresca watched as Chelsea came from a goal down to beat Real Betis 4-1 in the Conference League final on Wednesday night.
The likes of Enzo Fernandez, Moisés Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson and Jadon Sancho all scored for Chelsea against Betis.
Speaking after his side’s victory against Betis, Maresca revealed that he sought out Isco to praise the former Real Madrid midfielder.
“I told Isco at the end that he has a quality that makes the difference,” Maresca told Movistar.
Maresca and Isco played together during their time together at Spanish club Malaga.
Isco, 33, played for the likes of Real Madrid and Valencia in the past.
