Ipswich Town has become the third team to be relegated from the Premier League this season.

This follows their 3-0 defeat at Newcastle United on Saturday.

The Tractor Boys were reduced to 10 men in the first half after Ben Johnson was sent off after picking up two bookings within six minutes.

Newcastle then took the lead after Jacob Murphy was pulled down in the area. Alexander Isak stepped up to smash in the penalty.

Dan Burn headed in a second after the break, before Osula got his first league goal for the Magpies.

West Ham’s 2-1 win at Brighton means Ipswich cannot finish above 18th spot.

The Hammers are on 36 points while Kieran McKenna’s men have 21 with four rounds of fixtures left.

Ipswich will join Southampton and Leicester City in returning straight back to the Championship.
