Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has confirmed that the likes of Romeo Lavia and Benoit Badiashile are not available for his side’s away Premier League clash with Brentford on Saturday night.

The Italian spoke at his pre-match press conference on Saturday while providing an update on his squad.

According to Maresca, the duo are recovering and close to returning from injury.

Maresca said, “Romeo is not ready yet. It is the same situation for Benoit [Badiashile].

“They are both close but not available for tomorrow [the game against Brentford].”

Chelsea head to the game following a 2-0 win against Fulham in their last game.

The Blues currently sit in second position on the Premier League table behind leaders Liverpool after three games.
