EPL: Micah Richards snubs Liverpool, Arsenal, names team to win title this season

Former England defender, Micah Richards, is tipping Manchester City to win the Premier League title this season.

Richards was speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday, after nine of 10 opening day fixtures had been played.

City, who had won the title four years in a row, were dethroned by Liverpool last campaign.

The Reds finished 10 points clear of Arsenal, who have ended the last three seasons in second place.

But Richards is expecting City to bounce back and finish ahead of their two rivals this time around.

When asked for his predictions ahead of the new season, Richards said: “Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur.”

City began the campaign with a 4-0 drubbing of Wolves, Liverpool beat Bournemouth 4-2 and Arsenal edged a 1-0 win at Manchester United.
