EPL: Man City could be out of title race by Christmas – Carragher

Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has warned Manchester City they could be out of the Premier League title race by Christmas.

Pep Guardiola’s men have not won their last six games in all competitions.

City are eight points behind leaders Liverpool, who they face at Anfield on Sunday.

In his column for the Telegraph, Carragher said a defeat and a potential 11-point gap, could leave City with an uphill battle to retain their title.

“If City lose to Liverpool, their title defence is over before Christmas,” wrote Carragher.

“An 11-point gap would be insurmountable.”
