Manchester City midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne, has expressed shock over the club’s decision not to hand him a new offer.

The Belgium international’s contract at the Etihad expires at the end of the current season.

The former Chelsea midfielder has already announced he would be exiting Pep Guardiola’s side by June this year.

As the player is set to leave the Etihad Stadium after 10 seasons, Multiple clubs are already lining up to sign the Belgium midfielder as he becomes a free agent in June 2025.

He told Aadamp9, “There was a little bit of shock as I didn’t have any offer from Man City the whole year.

“Obviously I was a bit surprised but have to accept it.

“I still think I can perform at this level but I understand clubs have to make decisions”.
