EPL: ‘He’s a talent’ – Maresca reacts as Chelsea recall another player

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has reacted to the club’s decision to recall another player, Aaron Anselmino, from loan.

Maresca described the Argentine defender as “another talent.”

The Italian added that the Blues will help the 19-year-old adapt at the Premier League west London club.

Chelsea had recalled Anselmino from his loan spell at Boca Juniors.

The Stamford Bridge club announced the player’s return on Friday morning.

Maresca at his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Crystal Palace on Saturday, said: “He’s another talent, another good player. Now the most important thing is that he arrives here, adapts himself, finds a house, and settles in the right way. Then we need to give him time because when you come from the other part of the world, you need to adapt. You need to see a new world, a new culture. For sure, we are going to try to help him to adapt as soon as possible.”

Before Anselmino’s recall, Chelsea had recalled the likes of Ronnie Stutter and goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina to join Maresca’s team.
