Santos captain, Neymar, has admitted that he felt ashamed after his side’s 6-0 defeat to Vasco da Gama on Sunday.
Neymar was unable to help Santos as Vasco da Gama defeated them at the Estádio do Morumbi.
Goals from Piton, David, P. Coutinho, Rayan and Tchê Tchê gave Vasco da Gama the win against Santos.
Speaking after the game, Neymar labelled the outcome of the game as a ‘disgrace.’
“We were so sh*t. It was a disgrace. The fans have the right to curse and insult people today,” Neymar said as quoted by The TouchlineX after the game.
“It’s acceptable. I feel ashamed. I had never experienced anything like this in my life.”
Santos will now face Bahia in their next game on Sunday.
