Andrè Silva, the younger brother to Liverpool attacker, Diogo Jota, has died.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 25-year-old Penafiel player in the Portuguese 2nd League has also passed away following the accident.

DAILY POST reported that Jota died in a car accident in Spain as the 28-year-old was travelling in the vehicle with his brother, Andre.

Daily Mail had reported that the car went off the road on the A-52 in the province of Zamora.

The forward was part of the Liverpool squad that won the Premier League title in May during Arne Slot’s first season.
