Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique has insisted that his team showed less energy against Inter Miami in the second half during both sides’ FIFA Club World Cup tie on Sunday.

Erinque watched as PSG humbled Inter Miami 4-0 in the Round of 16 of the Club World Cup tie.

Two goals from Joao Neves and a goal each from Tomas Aviles (own goal) and Achraf Hakimi gave the French Ligue 1 champions the victory against the Major League Soccer, MLS, club.

Speaking immediately after the game, Erinque said at his post-match interview that he was happy with the outcome of the match.

“We showed less energy in the second half, but I am happy,” Enrique said.

PSG will now face the winner of Flamengo versus Bayern Munich in the quarter-final on Saturday.

Bayern Munich and Flamengo will clash on Sunday night in the last-16 tie.
