Four teams have officially confirmed their spots in the 2025 Club World Cup.

On Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich booked their places.

PSG progressed thanks to a 4-0 hammering of Inter Miami earlier in the day.

The Champions League winners flew out of the blocks and were two goals up thanks to a Joao Neves’ brace.

Tomas Aviles’ own goal and Achraf Hakimi’s finish rounded off the scoring in the first half.

PSG will now take on Bayern Munich which edged Flamengo 4-2 in the second last-16 fixture of the day.

Palmeiras will take on Chelsea in the first quarter-final. The Brazilian club saw off their rivals Botafogo 1-0 in a tight encounter.

On the other hand, the Blues needed four hours to defeat Benfica 4-1 amid adverse weather conditions.
