Club World Cup 2025: Aguero mocks Ronaldo over his absence at tournament
Former Argentina striker, Sergio Aguero, has mocked Al Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo after his club failed to qualify for the 2025 Club World Cup.
Aguero made an appearances on IShowSpeed’s stream as the competition got underway with Inter Miami’s clash with Al Ahly.
IShowSpeed, who has publicly declared his love for Ronaldo, asked Aguero to set up a meeting between him and Lionel Messi.
“You’re a very big fan of Cristiano, no?” Aguero asked.
Speed responded in the affirmative, but insisted that he still wanted to meet Messi.
Aguero said: “I respect it, it’s OK. He’s a good player. I prefer Messi, of course”, before sarcastically asking Speed why his favourite player wasn’t featuring at the Club World Cup.
“Ronaldo is playing here now at the Club World Cup or no?””he quipped. ‘Maybe he’ll have to watch on TV.”
