CAF Confederation Cup: Abia Warriors, Kwara United handed tricky draws

Nigeria’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, Abia Warriors and Kwara United have been handed tricky draws in the preliminary round of the competition, DAILY POST reports.

Abia Warriors, who will be making their maiden appearance in the competition, will face Malian outfit, Djoliba in the first preliminary round.

The winner will face either Burkina Faso’s USFA or Togo’s AS Gbohloe-su in the second preliminary round.

President Federation Cup winners Kwara United will be up against Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in the first preliminary round.

The winner will do battle with Wydad Casablanca in the next round.

The preliminary round will kick-off next month.
