Super Eagles winger, Nathan Tella is in contention for Bayer Leverkusen’s Goal of the Month for January.

Tella is among the four players nominated for the individual accolade.

Also in the running for the award are: Alejandro Grimaldo, Florian Writz and Patrick Schick.

Tella was nominated for his strike in the Bundesliga champions 3-2 win against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Idunal Park on January 10.

It was his first goal of the season for Die Werkself.

The 25-year-old has made 16 league appearances for Xabi Alonso’s side this season.
