Bundesliga: Augsburg bid Frank Onyeka farewell

Bundesliga club, Augsburg have bid Frank Onyeka farewell following the completion of his loan deal with the club.

Onyeka joined Jess Thorup’s side on loan from Premier League club, Brentford, last summer.

There was no purchase option in the loan deal.

The 27-year-old played his last game for Augsburg against Union Berlin last weekend.

The modest side thanked the defensive midfielder with a message on their X account.

“Thank you, Frank! Frank #Onyeka’s loan is coming to an end, and we thank you for your commitment to the Red-Green-Whites,” reads the message.

He made 31 league appearances for the club.
