Ballon d’Or: Trent Alexander-Arnold speaks on winning award at Real Madrid
New Real Madrid signing, Trent Alexander-Arnold has casted doubts he would win the Ballon d’Or in the future after joining the Spanish LaLiga club.
According to Alexander-Arnold, it would be hard for him to win the Ballon d’Or because of the varieties of top stars in the Real Madrid squad.
The England international spoke on Thursday during his first official presentation as a Real Madrid player.
“It will be very hard to win the Ballon d’Or with the players on this team (laughs).
“I’m just happy I will play with them and not against them,” Alexander-Arnold said.
Recall that the right-back had joined the Los Blancos from Premier League champions Liverpool after deciding not to renew his contract
Alexander-Arnold will wear the number 12 jersey that was worn by Marcelo in the past at Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old has been included in Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso’s squad for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup tournament.
