Ballon d’Or: Real Madrid boss congratulates Rodri

Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has finally congratulated the winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or, Rodri.

Recall that Rodri recently won this year’s Ballon d’Or ahead of Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.

Ancelotti, Vinicius and the rest of Real Madrid members boycotted the award ceremony in Paris, France.

They were disappointed with the outcome of the Ballon d’Or.

However, speaking to the media ahead of Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League clash with AC Milan, also insisted that the Los Blancos won their own Ballon d’Or on June 1st.

“Congrats to who won the Ballon d’Or, but it’s the past. We won our Ballon d’Or on June 1st,” Ancelotti said.

“Our Ballon d’Or was the Champions League we won in London”.
