Arsenal suffer Havertz injury blow during Dubai training camp

Arsenal forward, Kai Havertz, suffered a worrying injury scare during the training trip to Dubai.

Mail Sport reports that Havertz picked up the problem during a session earlier this week.

It is believed the injuryis hamstring related, although the precise diagnosis remains unconfirmed.

The Gunners will confirm the extent of the issue when they fly back to the UK.

But any hamstring injury will likely result in Havertz spending time on the sidelines.

Manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping any absence is for a short period, with his squad already depleted in attacking areas.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli are all missing through injury.

Havertz is Arsenal’s top scorer this season with 15 goals and any unavailability will arrive as a major blow to their ambitions of overtaking Liverpool at the top of the table this season.
