Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has reacted to his side’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifier victory over Libya on Friday.

The Chippa United gloveman kept clean sheet as Nigeria defeated Libya 1-0 at the Godswill Akpabio international Stadium in Uyo.

Recall that Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scored the game’s only goal of the encounter.

The win took Austin Eguavoen’s side to the top of Group D with seven points from three matches.

Reacting, Nwabali took to his X account on Saturday to commend the Super Eagles for putting in a ‘great performance’ against the North Africans.

“Cony man die cony man bury am. Great team performance and clean sheet,” Nwabali tweeted.
