Adesanya bets $10k on Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois
Nigerian-born UFC fighter Israel Adesanya has placed a bet of $10,000 on Anthony Joshua to win his IBF heavyweight title fight against Daniel Dubois this Saturday.
The title fight will take place at Wembley Stadium in London.
The all-British bout will see 96,000 fans in attendance in a venue that is familiar to Joshua but a new territory for Dubois.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Adesanya posted a photo of his stake placed on September 17, 2024.
It had the inscriptions: “Dubois, Daniel – Joshua, Anthony.”
He posted under the photo: “ÒGÚN This fight got beef…grab the #stake sauce.”
Adesanya’s bet showed that he was tipping Joshua to win between the 10th and 12th rounds, with an estimated payout of $50,000.
