Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle will lead the team’s backroom staff to Kigali on Sunday for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Amavubi of Rwanda.

DAILY POST learnt the Malian and the backroom staff will travel to Kigali from Abuja on Ethiopia Airlines.

The team’s camp for the clash with Adel Amrouche’s side will also open in Kigali on Sunday.

Chelle released a 23-man squad for the game and the matchday six fixture against the Warriors of Zimbabwe on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles will face the Amavubi at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali, next week Friday.

The three-time African champions are still searching for their first win in the qualifying series.

They occupy fifth position in Group C with three points from four games.
