2026 WCQ: Amavubi intensify preparation for Super Eagles showdown

The Amavubi of Rwanda have intensified preparations for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Rwanda started preparations for the game on Sunday with a light training session at the Amahoro Stadium training ground.

Head coach, Adel Amrouche have the full compliment of all the invited players at his disposal.

Fitina Omborenga and Yunusu Omborenga were excused from camp on Monday night following the death of their father.

The Amavubi will continue their preparation with another training session later tonight.

They will host the Super Eagles at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali on Friday.

The East African top Group C with seven points from four games.
