2025 U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles arrive Abuja after bronze medal feat
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have returned to the country from the just concluded 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.
Aliyu Zubairu’s side came third in the competition hosted by Egypt.
Nigeria defeated the Young Pharaohs 4-1 on penalties in the third-place match.
The seven-time champions also earned a ticket to this year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup finals taking place in Chile.
The contingent flew back to Abuja on Tuesday afternoon.
They will go on break before resuming preparation for the World Cup.
