Kama Dumps Labour Party

The lawmaker representing Ohaozara, Onicha and Ivo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Nkemkanma Kama, has dumped the Labour Party.
This was contained in a letter he wrote to the ward Chairman of Amaze Ward in Ishiagu Community, Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Kama stated that his decision was the outcome of consultations he had with both his immediate family members, political associates, and other well-wishers. According to him, after careful consideration, he concluded that the step was necessary for the greater good of his people.
The letter read in part, “I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Labour Party for the platform given to me to contest and win the last general election as the House of Representatives member under its banner.”
Kama however did not state the party he would join.
