‘You’re Role Model To Millions’ — Sanwo-Olu Celebrates Oyedepo At 70
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu congratulated the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, on his 70th birthday.
In a message released on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu praised Oyedepo’s decades-long service to God’s kingdom and his numerous philanthropic efforts, which have made him a role model to millions.
The governor described the renowned cleric as a personification of honesty, dedication, and service. He acknowledged that Oyedepo, through his diligence, commitment, and unwavering obedience to God, has built one of the largest spiritual institutions globally, attracting millions of faithful worshippers both within Nigeria and beyond.
Sanwo-Olu also highlighted Oyedepo’s contributions to education in Nigeria, citing the various educational institutions established by the Living Faith Church.
He said: “On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I congratulate Bishop David Oyedepo on his 70th birthday. He is a highly respected international cleric who has made a significant impact, not only in Nigeria but across the world, through his ministry and philanthropy.
“Bishop Oyedepo is truly a man of faith, and his teachings on faith-based biblical principles have transformed countless lives, especially those of his followers.
“As Bishop Oyedepo joins the ranks of septuagenarians, we pray that God grants him more grace and strength to continue spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, ministering to the needy, and offering hope to the downtrodden. May he enjoy continued good health as he serves God’s kingdom, the body of Christ, and humanity. May he continue to experience God’s abundant blessings and everlasting goodness.”
