”You’re emotionally damaged”- Blessing CEO responds to critics over her relationship

Controversial relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has responded to those hoping her relationship will end in heartbreak.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, the relationship therapist who is set to tie the knot with auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna also known as IVD, noted that individuals are damaged because of past experiences, leading them to doubt the authenticity of a beautiful relationship.

She emphasised that disagreement is normal in any relationship but love comes from being willing to forgive and work through their issues.

Blessing CEO urged her critics to heal from past traumas and open their minds to love.

She said, “”A lot of you are damaged. When you are damaged anything beautiful becomes too good to be true, being damaged isn’t an insult but a mental and emotional kind of disease that comes from our past pain. A lot of you who have seen celebrity marriages crumble, those ones you look up to in terms of marriage are no longer married.

“Social media has put a lot of chaos in your mind, So anytime you see a lot of beautiful relationships you cannot wait for it to crumble. A lot of you are so damaged that you begin to doubt true love, You become anti love because of fear and past trauma, some of you have not even experienced anything bad but you have taken other people’s experience and begun to live in it.

“You see relationships and marriage, there will always be make ups and break ups, you know why? because it is two different people coming together in agreement. Disagreement is normal, you disagree with your blood not to talk of a total stranger but love comes in when you open your heart to forgive 70 multiplied by 7.

“Let us understand that it is from our choice of a man or a woman we become hurt. Stop generalising it, once you take out lessons from experience you become peaceful, you grow and evolve. A lot of you will not experience love because you are afraid to be vulnerable.

“I thought I should remind you that the act of always thinking negative in the face positivity is a sign of being damaged. I want you to go and heal so that any good thing that comes your way you understand that you deserve it”
