According to analysts at Agora Policy, Yobe’s near-perfect budget execution is a strong indicator of “a state government that is not just planning, but delivering on its promises to the people.”

Reacting to the development, the Focal Person on Digital and Strategic Communications to Yobe State Government, Yusuf Ali, said the latest ranking has reaffirmed Yobe’s growing reputation as a model for accountable governance and result-oriented public service.

“This outstanding performance underscores Governor Mai Mala Buni’s unwavering commitment to fiscal responsibility, transparency, and efficient governance.

“Governor Buni’s administration has consistently prioritized the timely and effective implementation of budgetary provisions, especially in critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, agriculture, healthcare, and security”, he said.
