Reports from Germany indicate that EPL side Tottenham Hotspur and German club RB Leipzig have agreed to pay €60 million to acquire Dutch playmaker Xavi Simons.

Per a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur has agreed to a €60 million fee with RB Leipzig for Xavi Simons.

“Spurs want the deal done today, also on the player side + medical in the next hours.” Romano wrote on his X page.
While on loan from Paris Saint-Germain to Leipzig last season, Simons made an impression, tallying double digits in goals and assists across all competitions.
Top teams in Europe rekindled their interest in the versatile midfielder as a result of his achievements; Arsenal, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich were among them.
With a rumoured €60 million fee agreed upon and personal terms apparently at an advanced stage, Tottenham looks to have won the race. If successful, the transfer would be a major statement of intent from the Spurs as they prepare for the new season.
