WAFU Women’s Champions League: Bayelsa Queens tackle Police Ladies in opening fixture

Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions, Bayelsa Queens will begin their campaign at the 2025 WAFU B Women’s Champions League against Police Ladies of Ghana, DAILY POST reports.

The fixtures for this year’s edition of the competition was released by the organisers on Saturday.

The encounter is slated for Yammosoukro, Cote d’Ivoire on Saturday, 23 December.

Hosts Asec Mimosas will face AS Garde of Niger Republic in the competition’s opening fixture.

Bayelsa Queens will also face AS ASKO of Benin Republic, and Sam Nelly of Benin Republic in Group B

The competition will run from Saturday, 23 August to Saturday, 5 December, 2025.

The winner will join seven other teams at the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League.
