Wilfred Ndidi has rewarded the Flying Eagles with N5m following the team’s hard-earned 2-1 win over Cote d’Ivoire in WAFU B U-20 Championship on Thursday.

The victory over the Ivorians ensures the Flying Eagles qualification for the semi-final of the competition.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side will battle Niger Republic for a place in the final on Saturday (today).

Niddi, according to Flying Eagles media officer, Sharif Abdallah, doled out the money to the team on Friday.

DAILY POST reports that Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau, also gave the team N2m for the victory over the Ivorians.

Tonight’s encounter against Niger Republic at the Stade Municipal will kick off at 4pm.

Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire will clash in the last four encounter.
