WAFU U-20 Championship: Flying Eagles begin title defence against Burkina Faso

Holders Nigeria will face Burkina Faso in their opening fixture at the WAFU B U-20 Championship in Lome, Togo.

The Group B encounter will hold at the Municipal Stadium in Lome. It will kick-off at 3pm local time.

The Flying Eagles final group game against Cote d’Ivoire will also hold at the same ground three days later.

The competition will commence on Thursday, October 17 with hosts Togo taking on Niger Republic at the Kegue Stadium.

Ghana and Benin are the other teams in Group A.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals.

The competition will serve as the qualifier for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
