WAFU B U-20 Championship: Flying Eagles, Cote d’Ivoire to clash in final

Côte d’Ivoire will face the Flying Eagles of Nigeria in the final of the 2025 WAFU B U-20 Championship, DAILY POST reports.

The Baby Elephants defeated hosts, the Black Satellites of Ghana, 2–1 in the semi-final in Prampram on Sunday night.

Benjamin Tsivanjo gave Ghana an early lead, but Côte d’Ivoire rallied to win the thrilling contest.

Earlier, the defending champions, the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, prevailed 4–3 on penalties over the Republic of Niger.

The game ended in a 0–0 draw in regulation time.

The final will be held in Prampram on Wednesday.
