UCL playoff: Rangers boss gives update on Dessers

Rangers head coach Russell Martin says Cyriel Dessers could play a part in the first leg of the club’s UEFA Champions League playoff tie against Club Brugge.

Dessers sustained a knee injury in the Light Blues clash with Viktoria Plzen last week.

The Nigeria international missed Rangers’ League Cup clash with Alloa Athletic last weekend due to the setback.

Martin declared that Dessers is a ”touch and go” for the game.

“I think big Cyriel’s probably the only concern really. So he’ll be touch and go,” he told a press conference on Monday.

Rangers will host the first leg at the Ibrox on Tuesday.
