Turkey: Trabzonspor confirm Onuachu’s injury blow

Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor have confirmed Paul Onuachu will be sidelined with injury, DAILY POST reports.

Onuachu sustained an ankle injury during a pre-season friendly.

The 31-year-old is now expected to be out of action for up to one month.

The Nigeria international joined Trabzonspor on a permanent transfer from Sky Bet Championship club, Southampton last month.

Onuachu could miss Trabzonspor’s opening fixtures of the campaign against Kocaelispor, Kasimpasa, Antalyaspor, and Samsunspor.

The 2025/26 Turkish Super Lig season will commence on Friday, 9 August.
