Trump Orders Release Of Court Documents In Epstein Case

President Donald Trump has directed the Department of Justice to seek the release of grand jury testimony in the case of Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, following backlash from some of his supporters.

The uproar stemmed from a recent report that dismissed several conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death and alleged connections of prominent individuals.

“Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

“This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!,” he declared.

Shortly after Trump’s statement, Bondi confirmed the Justice Department’s readiness to act.

“President Trump, we are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts,” she wrote on X.

Earlier this month, the Justice Department concluded that there was no evidence supporting widely circulated claims about Epstein’s death or his alleged network of high-profile clients.

The report triggered outrage among some of Trump’s supporters, who have long suspected a cover-up and are now demanding full disclosure.

Pam Bondi, who previously hinted at explosive revelations related to Epstein, including potential disclosures of names and flight logs, had promised transparency.

Trump, who has publicly dismissed many of the Epstein-related claims as a hoax, appears to be responding to rising pressure within his base by supporting the push for court approval to make grand jury records public.

Epstein first came under public scrutiny in 2006 following allegations of sexually abusing underage girls. He was arrested and later accepted a controversial plea deal.

In 2019, he was arrested again on federal sex-trafficking charges but died in jail while awaiting trial.
