Troops recover stolen cattle, destroy bandits’ motorcycles in Zamfara
Troops operating in Anka LGA, Zamfara State, have recovered cattle stolen by bandits during an attack on communities in Bakura Local Government Area, security sources have confirmed.
The operation, which took place on Wednesday afternoon in Anka LGA, also led to the destruction of eight motorcycles used by the fleeing attackers. The recovered livestock were later handed over to the Chairman of Bakura LGA.
The development was revealed in a post on Wednesday by security analyst Bakatsine via X.
According to the post, “This afternoon, troops in Anka LGA, Zamfara State, recovered cattle stolen by bandits during yesterday’s attack on Bakura communities.
They also destroyed 8 motorcycles used by the bandits. The recovered cattle were handed over to the Chairman of Bakura LGA,” the post read.
