Troops kill two terrorists, seize motorcycle in Katsina operation
Troops of the 17 Brigade Strike Group, backed by special forces, have neutralised two terrorists during an offensive at Malali Bridge in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Zagazola Makama reports that the operation, part of Operation FANSAN YANMA, began on September 3 with troops advancing toward Zango High Ground in Kankara.
Despite the marshy terrain slowing military vehicles, foot patrol units pressed on and engaged the terrorists in a fierce encounter.
Two terrorists were killed, and a motorcycle was recovered from the scene.
