Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralised two terrorists in a well-executed ambush at Dipchari, near Banki Junction in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

The operation, carried out by troops of 151 Task Force Battalion on Friday evening, was based on credible intelligence about terrorist movements in the area, according to a special situation report from Headquarters 7 Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri.

Zagazola Makama reports that during the clash, two insurgents were killed while others escaped with suspected gunshot wounds.

Recovered items from the operation include two AK-47 rifles, two magazines, 16 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, one RPG tube, and a motorcycle.

Troops under Operation Hadin Kai has stepped up clearance missions, ambushes, and patrols across the North East in a sustained effort to deny terrorists freedom of movement and access to logistics.
